As a Sustainability Consultant, you will work closely with a cross-functional team across the globe to support client-facing projects, internal initiatives, and strategic efforts focused on supply chain, traceability, and/or sustainable/regenerative agriculture. The Sustainability Consultant role will involve external communication and conducting sustainability assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Development
  • Stakeholder and supply chain engagement to address and implement sustainability initiatives.
  • Support ongoing communication with external stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution and fostering strong relationships.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to external stakeholders to meet sustainability requests.
  • Integrate procurement data to improve traceability and strategy for supply chain engagement.
  • Evaluate alignment opportunities between Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) programs and different responsibly/sustainably sourced initiatives.
  • Assist in reporting key achievements and project milestones to local management and relevant Account/Project Managers.
  • Participate in conducting sustainability assessments for clients, evaluating environmental impacts.

Business Development

  • Collaborate with internal teams to cross-pollinate ideas, share knowledge, and deliver cohesive service offerings.
  • Support the planning and execution of meetings, workshops, and webinars to enhance the company’s service offerings.
  • Contribute to team efforts, supporting both day-to-day activities and long-term strategic initiatives.Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related subject
  • 3 plus years of experience within the same or similar field
  • Willingness to travel within the US and internationally, up to 30% – as required for conducting assessments and/or meetings.
  • Proof of US citizenship or Applicable Working Visa.
